4. Move your finger to your cheekbone. Feel the underside of your cheekbone until you reach the point directly under your eyeball when you are looking forward. Then slowly point upward and inward toward your cheekbone. This will make your face including your upper jaw numb.
5. Turn your attention now to your foot and look for your Achilles tendon. Then carefully press the points on both sides of the middle of your Achilles tendon. Be sure to do this in the indention between the ridge and the bone that sticks out your ankle area. The pressure you exert in this portion will force your body to divert attention away from the pain experienced.
Tips to consider while doing this, never apply a force more than you could bear. Use gentle and steady force and be sure to stop of the therapy hurts.
This method may not be effective to all depending on the person’s sensitivity to pressure.
